While I was writing in lang-8, I realized that there mach more people knowing Japanese than German there. So the number of corrections I received for my German posts became less and less. Therefore I posting in German and post only in Japanese.

Есть с ножа - значит использовать нож вместо вилки или других столовых приборов чтобы брать пищу и есть её. Считается, если есть с ножа, можно стать злым. Откуда возникла такая примета? Нож имеет древнюю историю. Это одно из первых и основных орудий защиты и добычи еды. Кроме того изначально был предметом с сакральным смыслом. Он защищает — как от реальных опасностей, так и нечистой силы. Такой сильный магический предмет требует особого отношения. Есть с него — значит разозлить духов А эти духи сделают человека агрессивным. В добавок, принимая пищу с ножа можно просто напросто порезаться.

Russian superstition: You shouldn't eat "from a knife"

If you eat "from a knife" - you can make spirits angry. And these spirits will make you aggressive. In addition, by eating "from a knife" you can just simply cut yourself.
